What is the most important thing you have learned in your life?
The way in which we are all part of one whole is more interesting and significant than the way in which we are separate egos. That, and love is the answer.
At this turbulent moment in history, what do you think is the most important thing a person can do to help humankind (and the rest of the planet) survive the many dangers that confront us?
Work to unite the democracies into a world government. Few people will get this right away. But think about. The tragedy of the commons arises out of a lack of government (enforceable law) over a shared resource.
What are your answers to the big questions: Who are we? Where are we from? Why are we here? Where are we headed?
There are an infinite number of universes. In one of them, conditions were just right for us to happen. Why are there any universes at all? I guess Nothingness was unsustainable. Perhaps eventually, everything that can happen must happen. Perhaps the absence of something is itself a cause, calling it forth, and that this is an intrinsic property of Nothingness. Where are we headed? If we believe we are headed for catastrophe, humanity may still be able to react in time to survive and to endure the taunts of those who are saying we will be alright.
