What do you do to make a living?
Retired on a meagre but adequate pension.
What kind of hobbies do you have?
Outside of pursuing all the mysteries of the universe as above?
Currently remodelling a garden and I love burning CDs with music of my choice to play while driving with my loving partner Joanne along the English country lanes.
In a world where you were pursuing your deepest, most heartfelt callings, what would you be doing?
Helping, healing, loving and laughing.
What is the most important thing you have learned in your life?
Everybody has their own story and reasons why they are 'brainwashed' into being what and who they are.
Very few of us seem able to change radically - even if we want to.
Describe a belief that you previously held and then subsequently changed. What caused you to change your mind?
Used to think all religious fundamentalism should be stamped out because it divides people.
Now see that it may be a place of growth for some who need fences for security before opening the gates to explore the sometimes scary world outside.
I changed my mind because I met people who would never have moved from the gutter except by trusting some force outside themselves to help them struggle to their feet.
Who do you admire most in the world (past and/or present) and why?
All the usual changers and shakers of history and all pioneers in science, philosophy and social change who listen to their hearts rather than the cry of the mob.
At this turbulent moment in history, what do you think is the most important thing a person can do to help humankind (and the rest of the planet) survive the many dangers that confront us?
Reach out and touch others - as in this community - and live out your principles as an example, hoping that kindness for people and the planet is 'catching'.
What are your answers to the big questions: Who are we? Where are we from? Why are we here? Where are we headed?
I do of course know all these answers but would rather not disclose them here to prevent you all from worshipping me which I would find rather tiresome!
Why did you decide to join this community?
Sher - an old friend from a former community life - asked me and when you get to my age any invite to party with pals is not to be sniffed at!
