I'm in a major transition. Plan to move to Oregon, (possibly Washington) perhaps to join an eco community - perhaps co-housing. I'm a chiropractor. Searching for the right place, balancing needs with desires. Really love The Path to Freedom - the way the Dervais family created an urban homestead. I have an Anatolian Shephard Dog. I have many interests, so I love NHNE. Perhaps some of you are forming a community or have an opening for another one? Or know of one?

Who do you admire most in the world (past and/or present) and why?
Amma. She is the embodiment of the Divine Mother. She is like a river, giving unconditional love to everyone she meets. She dissolved all my doubts about the existence of the Divine. She has many humanitarian projects around the world and her wisdom is flawless. Her music is ecstatic, and raises the energy to sublime heights. She is a great example for us to try to follow. You can find her at www.amma.org.
