What do you do to make a living?
Holistic Energy Healing
and
Communicating with Spirit Guides & Nature Intelligences
and
Teach classes in consciousness expansion and in
Conscious Holistic Business Practices
What kind of hobbies do you have?
Hiking, drawing, painting, reading
In a world where you were pursuing your deepest, most heartfelt callings, what would you be doing?
Living near mountains and water half the time, traveling the other half of the time. During both of those phases I would be using various forms of artistic expression, infused with energy streams of divine Love, to lift the consciousness of all living beings. I would continue acting as a communication intermediary between various dimensions of life and various types of beings.
What is the most important thing you have learned in your life?
To live as well as I can in truth, clarity and love within my own heart and soul. From there, benefit can flow to others.

It doesn't work well the other way around.
Describe a belief that you previously held and then subsequently changed. What caused you to change your mind?
I used to believe that it was not necessary or helpful to participate in the political process... that it was better simply to build an improved version of the world and ignore the old dying dinosaur that we call the political arena. Now I believe that it's important to build a new improved version of the world, BUT ALSO let our voices be heard within the old dying political processes.

I changed my mind because of my increasing belief in the need to materially ground our beliefs in physical action. The results may not be obvious or immediate, but we can know we've done our utmost to bring higher consciousness as far down into matter as possible.
Who do you admire most in the world (past and/or present) and why?
Mahatma Mohandas Ghandi
and
Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

For the same reason: each one did whatever he could do within his own life's immediate circumstances, with the greatest integrity possible. Neither was a paragon of perfection, neither aimed for fame, but each took carefully calculated beneficial actions within his own circumstances, and the results inspired and changed an entire nation.
At this turbulent moment in history, what do you think is the most important thing a person can do to help humankind (and the rest of the planet) survive the many dangers that confront us?
Stay connected to unconditional Love and Spirit within ourselves. Absolutely release fear. From that place of connection to heart and soul, speak with Love, then act with Love, guided by love and spirit.
What are your answers to the big questions: Who are we? Where are we from? Why are we here? Where are we headed?
WHO ARE WE? We are the same being, one huge consciousness (god?) that creates and re-creates life over and over and over. We are one being that has divided into multiple bodies and multiple species, in order to experience all aspects of life holographically. "We" are beings of all sorts, with a variety of goals and purposes. There is no simple blanket answer to that question, in my mind.

WHERE ARE WE FROM? I see people from many different sources, living as humans right now. Many from Earth always... many from other planets or dimensions come to give assistance to one project or another... and many who were originally nature beings who joined with a human soul to inhabit a body in order to help bring harmony between humans and nature. Yes, I guess that perception makes me a bona-fide weirdo.

WHY ARE WE HERE? There are a variety of major projects going on on Earth right now. They all revolve around this shift from a lower vibration/consciousness to a higher vibration/consciousness. Some of us are dedicated to lifting our human vibration/consciousness as high as possible (ascension) which is also viewed as bringing higher awareness down into our dense material forms to en-lighten the dimension in which we live (the return of Christ consciousness). Some others are dedicated to propagating as much fear as possible, because the end result of that is more money in their pockets, and more power /control for their goals. Thus the struggles.

WHERE ARE WE HEADED? I believe there is no escaping the inexorable pull of growth and expansion. I feel that the destruction we experience all around us is due to the fact that we're lifting in consciousness and leaving the denser version of the world behind us. I think it's important to pour our awareness and actions into building health and positivity into our world, because that's helping to co-create our ascended future.

In simpler terms, I feel that the future is bright for all life on Earth, because we are naturally gravitating towards more and more Light and Love. A lot of this horrendous damage can be undone, as higher consciousness gets involved in the process. We need to want that kind of future, then choose to take actions in that direction. Interestingly, I'm not convinced that this lower-dimensional version of Earth will be able to survive the damage... but if we've poured our intentions into a higher-dimensional version of Earth, then our physical and energetic awareness will be merged with that path of reality. We can help the planetary consciousness (Gaia) to ascend also into a higher version of itself. Ideally, there will be nobody left who connects their awareness with the older, lower, destroyed version of this planet, as we will have all bonded with the consciousness of the higher dimensional Earth.

OK, I'm the first to admit these concepts are pretty far out. Feel free not to admit this scenario into your belief system.

Escapist Fantasy #1

Friends of mine are selling their custom-built strawbale solar-and-wind-powered home on 40 acres in a mountain valley of Colorado. Its activated my fantasies of living away from human civilization. This seems to be a common fantasy among my
peers – one that we share, but few of us achieve. The ones who achieve it successfully have my undying
admiration. I know of a few who live
that way and would never go back to a city ag

Autumn at the edge of the Wilderness

Autumn is beginning to visit the Rockies. The finest weather of the year is here now. Today Gary and I are driving down to Southern Colorado, land of mesas and buttes, for a day of hiking and rest. Hiking and rest being synonymous for us may seem strange to some. For us, being away from human structures, becoming absorbed into the natural ecosystem, is as restful as anything could be.

I sustained a life-altering injury 2 years ago. For 6 months I was unable to walk. This summer I'm just… Continue

Hi Bonnie!
Thanks for writing!
Doing much dreaming lately?
I have been very busy building Dream Yoga in several cities in Germany! Many new friends! It's such a blessing watching lives heal, balance, and transform!

Namaste,

Joseph

I would love to see photos! I'm in the process of recreating some of our landscaping. We put in a lot of perennials (about 1/2 acre) before we started our market garden farm, and now I need something I can keep up with better. I'm exploring many flowering trees and shrubs.

I've read about Permanculture -- I have Mollison's IntroductionDesign Manual. I've considered adding some ornamental elderberry (the black and lime green are beautiful, and I love to make elderberry jelly -- perfect combination!). I've considered hazelnut trees, though the Japanese beetles shred those around here. Blueberry bushes are another edible, beautiful option, but I'd have to be careful to keep the soil ph where it needs to be. I know there are strawberry options (alpine?). Also, I have chickens and heritage breed turkeys wandering about, which may cut down on my harvest!

I went to a Pennsylvania sustainable ag conference in February, and Lee Reich (Uncommon Fruits for Every Gardener) described growing other alternative edibles, such as paw paw, pears, odd-ball berries, nanking cherries, medlars, and more, all of which are native and don't require spraying. I'm going to go order his book.

In any case, I'm having as much fun researching the possibilities as actually doing it. If you have any ideas, I'm open!

(I posted this SOMEWHERE once, but I don't know where it went! So if it's a repeat, feel free to delete it!)

Hi Bonnie! So nice to meet you and to be included amongst your friends! This community is wonderful as it takes shape slowly but with undeniable quality. (And, thank you for the compliments to my daughter!) I have read a bit of your lifes journey and the healing modalities you offer - so wonderful that you can say you are going hiking after not being able to walk for so long. What a blessing!

Hi everyone! As I get used to Ning, I see that I need to post my replies right here, rather than sending them to the individual. Otherwise it looks as if I'm not replying to anybody!

Today is a rare day off for me, so I plan to spend it in the lovely outdoors. I'll be posting blog posts soon, as you all may be doing too. This is going to be a lot of fun for all of us!

with love,
Bonnie

Bonnie--Welcome--Glad you found my reading list of interest.... Just let me know if you need the authors' name of any of the books I have mentioned. I love Colorado, although the only part I have been to is the Rocky Mt National Park. It's good to add you as a friend, now about my arthritis.....

Delighted to be your friend Bonnie. You live in one of my favourite parts of the USA. Yes I know and admire permaculture. Some of my good friends in Europe are permaculture trainers and also belong to the EcoVillage Network. I also have much time for natural health and healing and have kept myself in good shape thus far without recourse to allopathic medicine, which I increasingly dislike as I see how it imprisons friends and relatives into a systematic condition of ill-health.

Hi. Loved reading your profile. I really appreciate you sharing your insights -- that's one way we get to know each other here. I wish more people would go out on a limb and do it. After all, there's always that edit button! ;)
