Clergy.

In a world where you were pursuing your deepest, most heartfelt callings, what would you be doing?

Exactly what I am doing.

What is the most important thing you have learned in your life?

Listen.

Describe a belief that you previously held and then subsequently changed. What caused you to change your mind?

As a child I believed that being "good" would protect you from the world's evils. Experience has taught me otherwise, but I still believe that a positive attitude is the key to a good life. It allows you to see through the evil to the light on the other side.

Who do you admire most in the world (past and/or present) and why?

I think that would be Jesus. He knew what was right, pursued it, shook the establishment to its foundations. He didn't stop his pursuit for justice even though he knew he would be killed for it.

At this turbulent moment in history, what do you think is the most important thing a person can do to help humankind (and the rest of the planet) survive the many dangers that confront us?

1. Shut up.
2. Listen.
3. Think.
4. Act with wisdom.

What are your answers to the big questions: Who are we? Where are we from? Why are we here? Where are we headed?

I think we all need to work much of this out for ourselves while considering the world we find ourselves in. We are here to take care of one another and this planet and our success in doing this will determine where we are headed.
