I really enjoy cooking and baking, LOVE the Blues, am into spirituality, the law of attraction and personal development. I moved to Florida in April 2009, it's lovely here. I have 3 sons and a 'foster' daughter, each is a priceless treasure and a pleasure to observe as they mature into caring and concerned citizens of this world.

Favorite Music:

Blues - largely country and Delta - the old, authentic stuff, Rock, and some Country. I spent the first half of my life with classical music, and I'm taking a break from it now.

Favorite Books:

"The Power of Infinite Love and Gratitude", by Dr Darren Weissman, who has been my physician for over 10 years. He's an amazing healer with tremendous insight.

"Ask and It Is Given: Learning to Manifest Your Desires" by Esther and Jerry Hicks.

"Develop Irresistible Attraction" by Connie Domino

Favorite Movies:

The Devil-Doll, White Zombie, Mad Love, M, and other such 'thriller' movies from the 1930s. I have pleasant childhood memories of spending Saturday afternoons watching them on television with my beloved late paternal grandfather.

Favorite TV Shows:

Medium, Lisa Williams: Life Among the Dead, anything about spirituality, ESP, ghosts, the afterlife, Buddhism, the Templars, Freemasonry, Biblical archaeology, Egyptian archaeology, pirates, Tudor England, and more.

What do you do to make a living?

Semi-retired right now. Used to be a Macintosh specialist and manager in largely pre-press and educational environments. Testing and training for a post office job.

What kind of hobbies do you have?

Cooking, baking, Blues music, Second Life, where I have an eclectic outdoor spiritual art gallery and Templar chapel at The Sign of the Quaternion, my own little slice of SL.

In a world where you were pursuing your deepest, most heartfelt callings, what would you be doing?

I'd have a pastry chef certificate, and would be cooking and baking for a living in my own business, a cafe perhaps, on my own terms.

What is the most important thing you have learned in your life?

There is a higher intelligence and a life hereafter. While you're here, the relationships that flow the easiest are the right ones, but so are the difficult ones, because they have more to teach us.

Describe a belief that you previously held and then subsequently changed. What caused you to change your mind?

I was influenced by my mother to be agnostic but came to believe in a higher power through my own experience and realizations.

Who do you admire most in the world (past and/or present) and why?

My father, a profoundly loving and generous man who's character, ethics, dedication, faith and capacity to love serve as a very positive example for me.

At this turbulent moment in history, what do you think is the most important thing a person can do to help humankind (and the rest of the planet) survive the many dangers that confront us?

Sorry, I'm not qualified to answer this question. But...

What are your answers to the big questions: Who are we? Where are we from? Why are we here? Where are we headed?

We're are the figments of someone's imagination floating on an electron of a molecule at the center of a cosmic dust bunny under a bed somewhere.

Why did you decide to join this community?

It appears to be a place where reasonable human beings might congregate. I like that idea. I believe most people are reasonable human beings, and I'd like to meet more of them.
