About Me:

I know what it's like to be different than the people around you. Growing up in the 1960's & 70's did give me an opportunity to explore my gifts but it did not offer the opportunity to share with others my discoveries. When I was 12, my father crossed through that thin veil we call "death." Our relationship was very limited due to my own self-imposed limitations. I felt a great deal of guilt at his passing because I hadn't been able to keep my word to him on the day he died. As a child, guilt is very difficult to deal with. About a week later, my dad returned to release me from that guilt. He appeared one night at the foot of my bed bathed in the most loving light I had ever felt. He told me that he was at peace and he did not want to be the source of my pain. He also told me that I brought many gift with me into this lifetime and to not be afraid as they began to unfold. I remember telling my mom the next morning that my dad had come back and what he told me. Her response was "that's a great dream honey." I tried to assure her that the experience was real, but she told me that I needed to keep this to myself because people would think there was something wrong with me. So as these gifts began to unfold, I really thought I was going crazy. So much so that I shut down everything. At the age of 21, my mother crossed that barrier. She left me with the greatest lesson I have ever learned - the power of the spoken word. My mother actually talked herself to death. She did not believe herself worthy enough to live to be older than my father was when he died. He was 55 - my mother was also 55 when she died. I felt so alone until a voice from my past spoke out again. The voice reminded me that I am not alone and will never be alone. I asked who was talking to me and he said his name was "Ezeckiel, a guardian of the Akashic Records. Even with Ezeckiel's assurance, the human part of me still feared being judged. I didn't want others to think I was crazy and more importantly, I didn't want others judging my children by my actions. At some point, I realized that my children had chosen me as their mother, not inspite of my gifts, but because of them. Now, as the mother of 3 Indigo teens, I did not want them to feel pressured to hide the gifts they brought into this lifetime. Do you know what it's like to see, feel & hear things that other people choose not to? I did and I still do - but now I have chosen to make these gifts public and share my knowledge with others. I was proud to be part of the "Emerging Healers Conference" in July, 2007. Prior to joining this amazing group of people, I questioned how I could enhance my gifts and share them with others. That is how the Learning Connection Holistic Center came to be. I returned to school and became a Mind-Body Psychology Therapist, Certified Master Hypnotherapist, Children & Family Life Coach, and Flower Essence & Aromatherapy Practitioner. I utilize training in Regression Therapy, Intuitive & Toe Readings and other Ancient Arts practices to help people of all ages discover, accept and allow their gifts to play an active role in their lives. I also write for the AZ Net News and am the author of "Recognizing The Greatness In Each Child" - available at www.lulu.com. I specialize in working with children, teens, and families to return Back 2 Basics by reinventing the 3 R's - Removing Labels, Rebuilding Self-Esteem & Recognizing The Greatness In Each Child. What do you do to make a living?

Provide holistic services to children and families - especially those that have been affected by the diagnosis of mental, emotional or behavioral disorders - i.e. ADD/ADHD

What kind of hobbies do you have?

Gardening, reading, swimming, walking, meditating, writing and watching football

In a world where you were pursuing your deepest, most heartfelt callings, what would you be doing?

As the founder of the Learning Connection Holistic Center, myself and other holistic practitioners open up the world of holistic health to future generations.

What is the most important thing you have learned in your life?

Your thoughts and words create your reality

Describe a belief that you previously held and then subsequently changed. What caused you to change your mind?

Each person is given gifts that they bring with them into this lifetime - what they choose to do with them is another matter. I used to believe that it was ok to hide who you really are on a holistic level. Now I believe that each of us has a responsibility to create a better world for future generations by allowing them to see that "No Fear" is more than a commercial statement.

Who do you admire most in the world (past and/or present) and why?

I admire my parents for loving me enough to teach me very important lessons, even though they had to die to do it. I admire my children for chosing this time in history to come into this world to make a difference. I admire my many teachers for showing me that you can't help others until you are willing to look deep within yourself.

At this turbulent moment in history, what do you think is the most important thing a person can do to help humankind (and the rest of the planet) survive the many dangers that confront us?

Stop drugging the youth of our country and kids around the world. The killing of individuality, creativity, emotional freedom and potential by forcing our children into that "little box" we call normal will lead to the destruction of our world. See out practitioners like myself that can show you ways to return balance to your life.

What are your answers to the big questions: Who are we? Where are we from? Why are we here? Where are we headed?

Who are we? - We are multi-dimensional beings trying to find the balance between our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. Where are we from? - We are spiritual creations from the one source - whatever name you give it. Why are we here? - To experience life on a physical level. Where are we headed? - Back to the source - manifesting heaven on earth.

Why did you decide to join this community?

I wanted to be part of a community committed to creating a New Heaven and a New Earth.
